Create dwg with boxes at locations per by text input file

I have a text file with a list of x,y coordinates. I would like to get Visio
to make a drawing with a box at the location of each coordinate. Can this be
done?

depends what version of visio you are working with. that function was
dropped in (I believe) v2003, i.e. text import.

Thanks, We can go back and use visio 2000.
