I am an admin at a High School. i run exchange server 2003 and a mixture of
Outlook 2003 and 2007 as clients.
i can export to an access file a list of names and email addresses from our
info database, and then import them into an Outlook contacts subfolder, and
then create a distribution group within it. is there a way to get that list
to the Global address list or publish it to other users inside of my network
so they can use it as well? am i going about this in the right way?
also, when i went into word (2007) and tried to mail merge and connect to
the outlook contacts, it gave me a message telling me it couldn't find the db.
as a side question, if i use this dist list in the To: line and don;t click
the plus sign to reveal the members of the dl, do those addresses appear to
the recipients? if not, i don't need to use the word-merge route.
