Create letter or single label from contact?

With Office for Windows, one function I use regularly is the letter (not email) function for a contact, where the address information is prefilled in a Word document. This allows me to compose a letter or simply print a single mailing label quickly. Can this be done with Entourage?

Not in Entourage itself. You will need Word for that purpose; see Word's
help function for the Envelope tool or, if needed, the Data Merge Manager.
Sorry, but this functionality is probably not as flexible as the one offered
in Outlook.

In Outlook, when you call up a contact, there is a button at the top of the page that looks like the Word logo, and when you click it, it opens a new Word document with the address of the contact prefilled. Is there any way to accomplish that in Entourage? It seems much more email oriented than letter oriented. Is there any more functionality along these lines available in '08?

No, this functionality is not in Entourage. As I've said, you'll have to use
Word to create envelopes. Word can access the Entourage address book,
though, so you won't have to fill in the addresses manually.
