Create link to open new Infopath form sharepoint form library

I have published an InfoPath form to a sharepoint forms library. All users
on our intranet are able to open the form by using the ‘Fill Out This From’
button. What I want to do is to use a Links webpart to provide a link that
will open a new blank form so that I can have a simple list of forms that can
be filled out.

I have tried creating a link with a url similar to this:

http://site/formlib/Forms/template.xsn

When some users click on this link the form opens fine, on others an
‘Insufficient Privileges’ error is displayed.

Any idea on what is wrong or a better way to provide a list of forms that is
available on this site?

This sounds just like what I did in the same situation. First I created
the links web part. Second thing was to create a sub site in SharePoint
and when asked if I wanted to keep the permissions the same you would
indicate yes. Then publish the forms to the sub site, add them to the
sub site page (which I made a blank template) and apply the same theme
to the sub site as the parent to give the seamless appearance. Then
click the form library that you published to the sub site copy the
address and make that address a link in the main sites site library. It
sounds like maybe you didn't inherit the permissions from the parent
site.
