I would like to be able to add an instance of an executable program as a live
working object in a slide of a PowerPoint presentation. For example, I need
to be able to demonstrate how a certain program works at a specific point in
my presentation, currently I use alt-tab to switch to the program I want to
demonstrate and if I carefully size and place the window of the program I
want on the screen it appears as if the program is part of a slide. However,
it is bulky to switch back and forth between my presentation and the other
program I am demonstrating. Sometimes the timing of displaying the other
program doesn't flow as well as I would like too (I forget to switch). If an
object that is a working window of the program I want, the switch would be
seamless and the switch to the program would happen at the exact moment in my
presentation that is required.
