Create my on Tab with my Add-in

Can I create my own tab for my add-in. The only examples I have seen place
my add-in ribbon in the add-in tab.

Not a lot of information, here... I take it we're discussing an Office 2007
app.
Yes, you can create your own Tab in an Office 2007 ribbon.

Currently the best place to get info on manipulating the ribbon is this
