create new page in between

Suppose I have two pages
I should be able to create a page between these two pages rather than to
create one and move in between.
For intsance, while the very upper page is selected, and then if I create a
new page, then it should be created just after that
and not at the very end in the section.
I use ON2003.

Is this corrected in ON2007?

In ON 2007 when I right click to create a new page, it creates the new page
directly under the one I am currently viewing, even if there are other pages
below it.

Yes. But it's easy to enough to move the new page to its proper place.

The situation is totally different in ON2003 which the OP is using.

For me not. This is a subjective view.

I can see where you're coming from. It depends on the situation for me. It'd
be nice if there was "Add Page" and "Insert Page" both on the context menu.
The new page button should probably keep adding to the end though.

Is just drag+drop easy ?
(given that there are not endless numbers of pages)

And cut+paste works too.
