create new task

Hello,
is there a way to set default values for when you create a new task?
If I have a bunch of custom fields. and I would like them to pre-populate
the values.
I do not see a vba new task event. But I would like to avoid any vba,
anyway.

Try placing a formula in the custom fields. Formulas will auto-populate to
new tasks.
