Create new Tasks and Book time against it immediately!!

Hi,

Is there any API method's that helps me to create a new task and
book time against it immediately, as we see in the PWA? In PWA we can
create new tasks and book time against it immediately with out project
manager's approval as well as before publish the task from Project
Professional. Can we automate that??

Is there any API method to delegate my tasks to other resources
programmatically?

Use the Project COM object or VBA with the project open. Creating tasks
can effect the entire project plan so you must be careful.

If the code is run from Project, then use VBA. If the code is run against
Project (the code opens Project), then use VB.net.

I am not able to find the Publish Method in VBA.

Even though I create tasks and assignments, I was not able to book time
againist it immediately.
