Create node in xml

Hi Everyone,

I hope that someone will be able to help with this.

I have around 6500 xml files in Sharepoint, i have modified the
Template.xsn to add some new fields.

The problem that I have with this is that I now need to open and
save every xml file so the field will be in the xml file. Is there
anyway around this problem.
