Create rule for spam.

I apologize if this has been asked before. I would like to create a rule that
will select certain words in the subject line and then move message to a
"potential spam folder". Is there a way that I can include a selection of
words in the same rule, ie, money, winnings, pharmacy etc. or do I have to
create a new rule for each word.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

you can use a single rule for that. Go to Tools>Rules and create a new rule.
In the "If" section, make sure you select "If any criteria are met". Next,
define a couple of criteria through the Add Criterion button, such as
"Subject contains pharmacy" etc. In the "Then" section, choose "Set category
Junk" and "Move message to <name of your folder>". I'm not sure why you
would want to create a new folder for potential spam; you might as well just
use the built-in junk e-mail folder for that.

Do you use Entourage's Junk E-mail Protection feature? You can find it in
the Tools menu, and you may not even have to use customised rules for spam
if the feature is switched on. The filter is not bad at all when it comes to
catching obvious junk mail. Give it a try and see if it works for you.
