Create shortcut

Hi

I created this shorcut to a mdb pointing to a workgroup.

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\MSACCESS.EXE" "C:\Test
Backend\CopyShortCut.mdb" /wrkgrp "C:\Documents and
Settings\Trainer\Desktop\Test.mdw"

it opens the file but still using the default workgroup. How do I overcome
this?

I think it is using the designated workgroup. Thanks anyway.

You are likely assuming it is using system.mdw because that is what is shown
in the workgroup administrator. However the workgroup shown there is the
mdw set as the default, which isn't necessarily the one in use.

You can verify the one in use by hitting Ctrl-G and typing
?DbEngine.SystemDB
