Create stickman in Visio

Dear experts,

I'm a real newbie with Visio. Actually, I've always had
trouble creating even the simplest things with it,
so tend to avoid it. Thus is the case now.

I want to make a stickman. Everything should join to
the body, and stay connected.

It should then be possible to copy the whole object
and paste a number of them elsewhere.

So far, I've only been able to copy an arm, etc.
Blocking the whole thing doesn't help.

Can anybody tell me the secret?
