create / update database commands

i have visio professional 2003 and visual studio.net 2003 enterprise
architect. I cannot find any way in either piece of software to create a new
database diagram which can be used to automatically create a sql server
database. nor can i find a way to automatically generate a drawing of an
existing database, update that drawing, and have visio automatically update
the sql server db with the changes i made in the drawing. Was this ever
possible? Is it possible now with my product setup? If not, what versions
of this software would include this functionality? I read something saying
that this capability was to be included in visual studio.net 2003, but I
can't find it anywhere. Thanks,

On your install cdrom for VS.NET 2003 there is a subdirectory for Visio EA
which has the forward engineering function you desire, it also has the
reverse engineering. The Visio Pro has the reverse engineering also. The two
versions of Visio (although labeled the same as v2003) are not the same. The
Visio 2003 EA is really version v2002 renamed.
