Create XY Scatter chart in Powerpoint through VBA?

Hi there,

I am about to create a office 2003 ppt show which should redraw a xy
scatter chart while in presentation mode. It should use data coming
through a tcp ip stream.

I wanted to use a dll similar to the .NET library ZedGraph, but I was
not yet able to find anything suitable.
What are the limitations of the charting in powerpoint?
Would the scenario to use embedded excel in a slide be feasible?
Did anybody made experiences with this?

Any help is greatly appreciated
