Create your own dropdown on toolbar

K

Kathy Webster

I have 10 macros that I want to add to my toolbar. I don't want them to take
up all that space. I'd rather create one "dropdown" icon on the toolbar,
and when I click the dropdown arrow, it displays the 10 macros that I can
choose from. How can I do this?

TIA,
Kathy

Hi Kathy,

"Tools, Customize, Commands, New Menu"
Drag and drop "New Menu".
Then from "Macros" drag and drop your macro
into the new menu.

Then while "tools, customize" is still open,
right click the macro and give is a proper name,
if you like.

Hi Helmut,

Very helpful post. I have a question, how do I delete a macro from my new
menu.

Thank you

Hi Jessika,

"Tools, Customize".
Open your custom menu, click on the command you want to delete,
hold the left mouse key,
drag and drop your macro somewhere in the doc,
while near the mouse pointer a little cross is to be seen.
Release the left mouse button.
