Created 13 page web site. Links to page 13 go to page 12???

I created a web site with 13 pages. Navagation bar is on master page. When I
check it out, all the links on each page for page 13, go to page 12. A others
go to their assigned page.

Have deleted link and reassigned, made sure the link is on the master page
navagation bar tool, etc... Nothing seems to correct this errant link.

Do not use master pages for web design in Publisher that feature is only for
print. You have to have your navs on each page - if you;ve read about master
pages in conjunction with websites do not confuse asp master pages with the
Publisher master page...they're not the same. There are ways to what you
want with DWT's or Includes, but Publisher cannot.

Thank for the response Rob.
Additional info - The link is on each page and all the other links work,
whither linked by individual page/button link or by master page, so this is
some anomoly that is true for only this one page.

Are you saying that this is unsolvable and I should move to another
development tool?
Thanks,
Dave

Post the link to the broken page (the website's URL).

Dave,

Rob is not saying your situation isn't fixable, but he is saying that you
cannot use the Master Page feature in Publisher and not have problems. You
may have one or no issues with IE, but chances are you will have other
issues with other browsers. If you would rather move to different software
than to quit using the Master page and probably fix your problem, then good
luck to you.

Otherwise, as you only have 13 pages, just delete everything on the master
pages. Then go to the regular page view > insert > navbar > existing and
insert new navbars on each page. Check the links to confirm they are written
correctly > publish to the web > upload new web files.

If after doing this you still have problems, please post a link to the page
where you are having the problem and tell us which version of Publisher you
are using.
