Created Distribution List could not save error - Data in hidden f.

Tried to create a distribution list - could not save it because of error
message - data in hidden field 00062004 - .......... int: 32853 currently has
a lenght of 8518 . This exceeds the maximum allowed of 8000.

Anyone know the what I can do to resolve this problem?
