Created text boxes won't print - page is blank

O

OBX Borusa

I create text boxes with and without borders in MS Word. They show up on the
screen. I place text in the boxes, save the files, etc. When I print the
page, the portion of the page where the box should be is blank. I have saved
different versions of the file in an attempt to eliminate the problem. I
have even cut and pasted to new files. Still, no printing. I have even
switched printers. Nothing - the page where the text box should be is blank.

I can email the file to someone else, they can save it and email it back.
Then it prints. Is there some sort of setting that I am not thinking of?

On the Print tab of Tools | Options, make sure that "Drawing objects" is
checked.
