Creating a back up - Word2003

Bob Carlson

I lost two hours of work on my three month computer. I apparently do not
have a backup saved every 10 minutes or so. It appears straight forward how
to enable this function, but it is still not working. I also need to know
where they park the back up. And, does it delete the backup when I backup
the original.

Thanks.

Bob, are you talking about the AutoSave feature or an actual backup copy?
They're two different things, you know, and they're both available. AutoSave
is the one you should get every 10 minutes or so. However, beware that if
you close the file and don't save, it does NOT save a copy of it with all
the stuff you typed. People seem to think so, and are misled. Do yourself a
REAL favor and get into the habit of hitting Ctrl+S every time you even
clear your throat. :)

Hope this helps!
