Creating a bar chart and don't want a legend?

The problem with that is that PowerPoints charting tool still keeps
that space for a legend even if you don't have one. I can't figure out
how to get rid of it, so my chart bounding box is taking up too much
space if I want to center my chart and make it bigger. I know how to
resize correctly (thanks to ECHO!) but I can't get rid of that space
where PPT thinks the legend should go.

Am I missing something obvious?

duh, I didnt know as much as I thought about resizing. You can just
grab the handle at the right side of the chart and dragit outl to take
up more of the larger bounding box. For some reason last night I
couldn't do it. Maybe I was too tired, LOL.

Exactly. Just grab the plot area and drag it so it more closely matches the
chart area.

Trust me, I know all about that missing stuff when you're tired thing.
(And it's really hard to grab if you're working with a pie chart!)
