Creating a book, how to:

Mike

I want to create a book in an Office program that when printed it will end up
with the document printed on both sides of the page and the page numbers will
be in order when printing on a 11x22 paper, just like a multi-page training
manual. In other words, page two would be on the left side of the page and
page seventy-five would be on the right side of the page. When stapled
together everything will be in order.

Thanks for the information. I found a 'booklet' template in Publisher and
chose the 8 1/2x11 size and imported my multi-page Word document. Pages are
arranged in two's as one would read them (ie. page 2 then page 3). What I
need is to print 11"x22" paper so as to have page #2 on the left half of the
page and another page number on the right side depending on how many pages
are in the document so when printed and stapled together the pages are
sequential. Does this make any sense?

What version Publisher are you using?

This setup is for 2003, 2007 is a whole different ballgame.
Setup your printer for a custom size 11" X 22" landscape first. Can your
printer print this size stock? I think you may mean 11 x 17. My laser can only
handle 18.5. If your printer cannot print 22", setup your print as a PDF.
Setup your page as a booklet.
Insert pages in groups of 4. Publisher automatically presents the pages in the
correct order.

Thank you. The version is 2007? Also, can this be done in Word?
