Creating a bubble chart

S

Stacy

I'm trying to create a bubble chart with the following
type of input.
X Y size
Product Name Value Probability Revenue
Product X 5.6 5.4 15
Product Y 8.0 7.5 30

The x and y are from 1-10 and the size varies. How do I
get the size to also change color with each new project
and can I get the name as well. Obviously I'm a novice at
this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Stacy

Hi Stacy -

Assuming your data is in A1:D4, select B3:D4 and start the chart wizard.
In step 2 select one of the Bubble Chart options, and click through to
the finish. To apply the labels, download Rob Bovey's Chart Labeler
(http://appspro.com) or John Walkenbach's Chart Tools
(http://j-walk.com). These are free addins that enhance Excel's charting
capabilities. Use either one to apply the labels from A3:A4 to the data
points.
