Creating a Change Request List

I am attempting to create a Change Request List within my Project Server WSS
site. I want my list to have version history like the issues list but I
can't use an issues list as a template due to it's connection with Project
Server.

Does anyone have any idea's how I might get this connected?

Hi Adam,

Within WSS when you generate a new list ( under create ) you will need to
choose a list called "Issues". Only this lists tracks version histories. This
should do the job for you.
Hope this helps

Marc,
I've given this a try, and while it gives me an 'issues' list that I can
rename 'change requests' it does not allow me to change any of the template
(ie - it always says 'Add New Issue')

Also for some reason it half connects to the EPM system, showing 'associated
task buttons' and the like. I really don't want to show these options, I am
assuming that this connects due to the fact that the EPM / WSS site thinks
this is an issues list.

Any ideas on how I might disconnect these templates from EPM?

hi Adam,
There is also an issue list in WSS which is not an EPM issue list, you
should have this issue list under "create". Can you please let me know if
this is the case
Thanks

no need to purchase a Web part for making a change request list..
simply go to Project web site and using create option create a list and add
the column you want ..

Its simple
