Creating a clickable hyperlink in a note

Hello,

Is it possible to create a clickable hyperlink in a note in Entourage
2004?

Obvious things like "<a href ..." HTML links do not seem to work.

Holding down the command (Apple) key while clicking on a URL anywhere in
Entourage will open the link in your default browser, even if the URL
doesn't appear as a hyperlink (which it should). Note that URLs beginning
with "www" are not proper URLs: make sure they begin with http:// .
