Creating a DLL that can be accessed from VBA

Andy

My Visio applications make use of VBA. However, I now have code that I
would like to share between applications and can hopefully justify the
expenditure to purchase VB or Visual Studio.

In an attempt to do this, I have downloaded a trial of Visual Basic
2005 Express which appears to be VB .Net.

I created a simple class and generated a DLL. This can be accessed from
other applications within Visual Basic Express. However, if I try to
add the DLL as a reference in Visio it says it can't add the specified
file.

Am I on completely the wrong track here or is this lilkely to bo a
VBA/VB6 VB .Net issue.

Suggestions appreciated

check out Graham Widemans book "visio developers survival guide". He has
some excellent material and tools included in it.
