Creating a link to an existing SVG

Does anyone know how to create a link to an existing SVG file from within a
Word document?

I have all of my graphics in SVG files, but cannot just "Insert Picture from
File" and link they way I could using EPS files.

Microsoft Word does not yet have an SVG import filter, so you cannot use SVG
in Word.

Visio 2003 does have an SVG filter. If you had Visio 2003 installed, you
would be able to convert SVG pictures to EMF, which Word will use.

Sorry...
