Creating a macro crashes word

P

Peter Cole

I am trying to create a macro in Word 2002 using Record
Macro. I can record and stop recording but if I try to
run or edit word crashes and wants to send an error
report to Microsoft. All office and windows updates have
been applied.

For anybody to be able to help you, you would have to copy and paste the
code that is recorded into a message that you post back here and also
provide a description of what you want it to do.

Thanks for the reply but it does not help. There is no
code created because it crashes word. Problem resolved.
Seems to be something in the way I had stored forms and
modules in a document and normal.dot and possibly a dual
declaration of a Public variable.
Sorry to have wasted your time.
