I have several drop down lists on my sheet, and depending on the value you
select form the list, it produces a cost savings on a separate cell, based
off a VLOOKUP function.

I am trying to create a macro that would select all the best options from my
drop down lists, so that I could ideally create an "Optimal" button that
would direct the user to the optimal cost savings scenario (selecting the
cheapest option in each list).

I have zero knowledge of macros and the " record a macro" function does not

Aldo,

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better of
attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the sam
structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have i
your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in thi
format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

Please supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the perso
helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Scroll down and see "Manage Attachments".

Have a great day,
