creating a main access selection or Menu page, is this possible ?

I'm trying to create a Main Menu Database Selection page, when the database
is opened by a user, that will allow my users to select certain forms, data
entry, reports, and queries within the database.

Once a selection has been made, the initial screen will close and then the
user may make other selections from the area/screen or data entry area that
had been selected. The user will should be able to select the main menu or
other location menus within the data base while it is opened....Is this
possible and if so how can I accomplish this task? Can anyone provide me
with examples on how to accomplish this?

Have you tried using the built-in Switchboard Manager?

It has some limitations, but is a good entry-level menu.

Or, you could build your own. You might take a look at the Northwind sample
database that ships with Access. It comes with a nice (but simple) menu.
You could poke around and see how it works.
