Creating a MS word template.

This seems like it should be rather simple, but I have yet to figure a
way to do it.
I would like to create a template in word.
The document would be standard 8.5 x 11
I have an 8.5 x 11 image which I would like to have as the background,
and I would like that image to repeat on every page as more type is
added.
Other than that I just want type to flow over the image and page to
page without having to create text links everytime I add a page.

so
A) a background image which fills a full 8.5 x 11 page,
B) type over it
No problem... right,
WRONG,
any help would be great.

Hi Bruce,

It sounds as though you want what Word calls a "watermark". Search
"watermark" in Help, I believe they have specific directions.
