creating a new form

erela

hello there,
i want to create a new form that will be available through the server.
it is supposed to be some kind of appointment form, i.e. i need to have some
kind of calander in it (drop down box?), list of specified contacts and text
box.
i tried several times to create it, but failed each time and now i am not
sure if its possible without programming.
what do you say?

thanks,
Erela

Do you have permission to publish a form to the Organizational Forms library
on the server? If not, you're not going to be able to accomplish your goal.
Consult with your Exchange administrator before doing any more work on this?

I would suggest doing any necessary customization on the appointment form's
P.2-P.5 pages rather than trying to do duplicate the look and functionality
of the functany instead relying either on the main Appointment page. Also,
any date/time field will have Outlook's natural language date entry
functionality, so users can type in things like "Tuesday" without the need to
pick from a calendar. If you decide you can't live without a drop-down
calendar control, see http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=26 for
controls you can add. Remember, though, that the control must be installed on
each client machine that will use the form.

What specifically failed? In what version of Outlook? See
http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=18 for common issues related to
appointment forms.
