Creating a new original document

I have taken an old document, modified it, and saved it as a "new document".

However, if I go back into "track changes", the old document can be found.
Is there a quick and easy way for someone to accept all the changes so that
my new document is considered a "new original". I want to email my document
around for review and comment, but don't want my reviewers to see the
original document that I copied.

You just have to accept all the changes in the document. How you do this
depends on the Word version.
