creating a report in MSP server - data anlysis

hi,

I would like to create a simple report which will contain only not
completed task which finish date is in current week and another filter
according to a filed I created (not a generic filed)

I cannot find in the pivot table filed list the : start date, finish
date, task name and the enterprize filed I created.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks,
Hanni

Is the enterprise field a text field? If so it needs to be based on a lookup
table to be available for reporting.
The rest of the fields should be available if you have configured your cube
correctly. Have you looked at your cube settings?

I guess an easier alternative to pivot tables would be to create a view in project center with the necessary fields/filters.

Go to PWA>Server Settings>Cube>Configuration

Under "Cube Dimensions" select the entity type i.e Project, Resource, Task
or Assignment and you should then see all the available custom fields you
can add to the cube as a cube dimension.

Hope this helps,

Thanks a lot. it sounded like a good idea, but it failed. when I try
to add all the enterprize fields I receive: "failed to save your
custom filed..."

I probably do something wrong. will check again later.

thanks a lot!!!
