Creating a standard template for all of my forms

HC Henriksen

I am trying to develop an application for sales in Infopath - integrating to
MSSQL/MSDE database. But I am having difficulty in setting up my applications
(a set of forms).

I wish to have a standard "template" for all of my forms with a standard
header and footer. The Header will show only text but the footer will show
two simple textboxes with data (inventory status and delivery status).

All of my forms should include this standard template and show the header
and footer. I do not wish to use copy/paste technology to do this, but am
trying to make a "link" to the template so that I can change the standard
template without having to change all of my forms.

Having searched the internet and my books I have found no solution for this
- so now I try and mail you with my question - Is it possible to create such
a link to a standard template?

I sincerely hope that you will be able to help me.

Hi,
I try to do the same things as you but I work with a webservice and he
put in a database. It's not hard but it's not very simple.

for your footer I believe I'm not sure but you can define the name of
one field in your footer so when the user enter the information
infopath copy it's content in the footer.

Say me more is your database as main data source?
