Creating a text box in a macro

Michelle McK

Our office just converted to Windows XP from Windows 2000. I am attempting
to recreate the macros I lost when I got the new computer and can't figure
out how to create a macro that will insert a text box. I know how to record
a new macro and assign the keystroke I want to use, but clicking on the text
box in the drawing toolbar doesn't work with the record on - nor does
inserting a text box from the menu bar. Help!

I want to be able to put our company name, address, telephone, and website
on documents with a simple click rather than constantly typing the info over
and over and over.

Thanks!

Better methods than macros for this --

1. Create a template, or

2. Create your textbox manually, and define it as an autotext entry.
