Creating A Timer In A Form

I've created a database to allow downtime and production levels to be
monitored. To allow better interpretation of the data gathered I want to
create another form that will show how long the machine has run for. The
idea of it will be when the operator starts using the machine they will press
a button on a form and it will start a timer or record the time, when
theoperator is finished on the machine they will pressa button and the timer
will stop or the time be recorded. This should then be used to show the
length of the time the machine has been running for over an hour, 6 hours,
daily, weekly and monthly.
