I have a quandary that needs a decision and it hinges on this question:
My situation:....Windows XP Pro SP2; FrontPage 2000; FrontPage 2003.
.......................... Studying CSS; see that tools we use now (HTML
Tables) will change with IE8 to be incorporated into CSS.
Question: I need to put up a revised web site now which uses HTML Tables
while I learn CSS. This will take awhile because of my schedule. Not sure
when IE8 will come out, but in case it is soon, and people begin to use IE8,
what kind of surprises will visitors to the web get with HTML tables? I am
reading that Microsoft is finally catching up as far as web development with
their browser is concerned, so there are bound to be surprises to those of
us who are dragging behind. And will there be such a thing as backward
compatibility in this situation?
