Creating an anniversary card

I was using merge documents, but I'm having difficulty merging. I am putting
merge documents into Access and running everything from Access. The report
seems very archiac or I just don't know how to use it. I try and paste
graphic, etc. but nothing seems to work. I'm trying to create an anniversary
card, and want to rotate text? Can you do that in report. I can't find anyway
to do it.
