Creating an entry on someone else's calendar but not mine

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: imap Hi,

Is there a way for me to send a calendar invitation to someone from Entourage but not have the appointment show up on my own calendar? I help recruit speakers for events and it'd be great if I could send each speaker a calendar invitation for the time/location/etc. they were supposed to be speaking, to ensure it's on their calendar. But I wouldn't want all the events on my own calendar. Is that feasible?

Thanks in advance.

Is there a way for me to send a calendar invitation to someone from

This is the nature of Entourage. If you send an invitation then it
assumes you are organizing a meeting.

You can go ahead and create the invite, send it and then delete it from
your calendar, opting not to send an update.

You can also put the event onto your calendar, drag it to your Desktop
to create an .ics file and then attach that to a mail message to your
speakers.

Hope this helps!
