I love being able to create search folders in Outlook 2007, very handy. So
far, however, I've been limited to very simple queries as the more
complicated ones don't seem to be support (or I can't figure out how to do
them). For instance, I'd like to be able to set have the ability to have
conditions "OR'ed" or "AND'ed" together (even if it is just one of the
logical operators per rule). In the simpliest case I have a rule that checks
for whether a list of people is on the "TO" field AND whether a certain
Category is selected.
In many ways I'm surprised that the query syntax for these rules isn't just
based on the same syntax that is used in the Desktop Search Engine. Does
anyone know if there is a way to use this powerful language to create a
search folder?
