Creating booklets

[Beginner]

I am using Word 2000 and having trouble trying to set up a
booklet. I just want to use an 8/12 x 11 and have my
document print on each 1/2 of the page. When I print it,
the pages don't print out in the correct order for a
booklet. What am I doing wrong?
