Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) I have com as far as tapeing my name, adress etc,and getting it applied on the sheet with eight businesscard. BUT, since the cards are placed with the long side of the rectangular horizotally, the text is subsequently also aligned horizontally. Now, I want the text to be aligned with tsh short side of the busnesscard.......See what I mean anyone?
Would be ever so grateful for your time and effort to help me out on this one :)

The only way to do this in Word is with a graphic object of some sort --
either WordArt or an object imported as a picture having been created in
some other program. Regular text cannot be rotated & although shapes
containing text can be rotated the text within them remains horizontal. It
then becomes an issue of having the graphic stay where you want it on each
instance of the card.

In short, this type of project is better done in a program designed for the
purpose... Plain Vanilla business cards are one thing, complex layout is
something else. There are a number of inexpensive page layout/desktop
publishing programs which make it far easier to do something like this. One
of my favorites: http://www.magicmouse.com/h_discus_detail.html

A pretty good deal for ~$30 US
