Creating Contact List with Public Folder

My company is exploring the option of using Outlook to manage our contacts.
Our idea is to create a public folder and import all clients using Excel and
vCards and have one person manage this “database.†There are approximately
15-20 people who would need to import contacts, but it would be great if more
people could access the information. However, our concern is that as
individuals in the company update contact info or add more contacts, the
contact list in the public folder would not be updated. Is there a way to do
this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
