Creating custom color palette

Hello

I understand how to create custom colors. Is there any way to save these
custom colors to your palette permanently?

An example of this concept is similar to MSPaint...where you have a row of
empty boxes that can be used to store custom color palettes.

There is a technique for incorporating custom colors in Styles, but there is
no feature in the program for changing the default color palette.

What I've done in the past is create a reference doc with the color codes
for colors that I want to be sure I get the "exact" match from time and time
again. You can also make a document that has objects (squares, circles)
filled with your colors and then use the format painter to bring them into a
new document.

This is a pain in the toucas... (is that spelled right?) but at least it
affords you continuity when you are using custom colors.

You can do this in Word 2007 (and Excel and Powerpoint.)
