Creating Form with subforms in it

I am trying to create a subform in a form I am designing.
My problem is that when I go to create the subform it will
notlet me choose weither I want to use an exisitng table
or query or an Existing form. It will only select the
forms. Anyone have an idea why it will not let me select
the other option?

Getting frustrated

The subform needs to be created first as a standalone form. Then you can
include it as a subform to another form. Subforms are not actually an
object to a form, it is more of a link to another form that already exists.
