Creating forms customers can 'fill in the blanks'...

I'm not sure where to 'go' (so to speak!)
I'm 'moderately' good with Word - but seldom use much more
than basic stuff.
I need to create a form (legal agreement - contract) that
can be sent to customers in WORD. Most the text needs
to be LOCKED into place and unchangeable. Some of it is
always the same, other information will be modified by my
CSR's (price, etc.) then - the customer needs to be able
to enter a variety of information (name/address/number of
units being leased, timelength, etc.), but the customer
cannot be able to change 'locked' text. Where do I
start?? Thanks much.

Right-click on the form field and select Properties.
You should find "Maximum Length" as "Unlimited." Cycle the
numbers to the length required.

On the Table tab of Table Properties, click on Options... and clear the
check box for "Automatically resize to fit contents."
