Creating forms in Word 2002

How do you turn a form already created in word into a form
that can be filled out electronically?

By adding text form fields from the Forms Toolbar in the proper location and
protecting the form ("Tools", "Protect Document). However, this process
works much better if the "places" for formfields are in tables instead of
underlined blanks.
