Creating Forms

K

Keith Sea

Trying to create a form to collect information via e-mail. Each time I select
this option I receive an error message:
Microsoft Office FrontPage - This form cannot be configured to send results
via e-mail. The Web site may be located at a disk-based location, or on a
server that has not been configured to send email. Contact your system
administrator or Internet service provider for more information.
I have, and they claim to have all of the FrontPage extensions.
Now what?

Are you creating the form directly on the live/remote server via FP or are you creating it locally
and then publishing it to the live/remote server via FP's http mode, which is required to run and
for testing?

I'm creating it on my local CPU then uploading it. In my old FP-2000 I used
to make these forms. Now that we have entered the FP-2003, I can't seem to
get it off the ground.

You say you are "uploading it"
You must publish the local FP site (w/ the form) to your hosted site using FP http mode for the form to work there

By "uploading" I think I mean I am using the "publish to the remote site" and
uploading the whole site from my CPU to the website. Only those things which
have been changed are actually uploaded (so I'm told).

And?
Is the form working online?
Post a URL to the online form page
