creating forms

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel I am using Word 2008 to create a multi-page document that includes a form on one page. The end user needs to be able to complete the form on the computer or print it out and complete it by hand. I have specified a certain number of spaces on the fields so that it will not drop to the next line when completed on the computer, as this does not allow the form to remain on one page. I would like to have that entire field space marked with an underline that will stay in place when the field is completed on the computer. Is that possible with Word 2008 or only with Adobe products?

Thank you so very much-I have spent days looking for the correct information to no avail. This is perfect.
